Camila Ponte Alvarez is an Australian-Venezuelan actor who recently appeared as Lucia in Apple TV+’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2. A graduate of WAAPA (2019), she has since worked across Australian film and television, with credits including RFDS, Amazing Grace, Last King of the Cross, and Home and Away, as well as independent films such as Haven’t You Heard Everybody Hates Me, Other You, and Finally Me.

Her theatre work includes productions with Griffin Theatre Company (Naturism, directed by Declan Greene), Riverside Theatres (Fade), and La Boite (Yoga Play), along with performances at KXT, Flight Path Theatre, and others.

Australian-born with Venezuelan heritage, she spoke only Spanish until starting school. She began her training as a dancer at the age of three before going on to attend Newtown High School of the Performing where she became her Acting career.
