Rob can next be seen in the action-thriller feature film DEEP WATER opposite Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley. His international credits also include the feature film THE MEG as D’Angelo opposite Jason Statham and the AppleTV+ mini series, CHIEF OF WAR opposite Jason Momoa.

Robs’ early career saw him in New Zealand TV productions, such as Shortland Street, The Brokenwood Mysteries, Find Me A Maori Bride, Nothing Trivial and Korero Mai, Consent, The Deadlands and Waru. He then began working for three seasons on the Seven television series, 800 Words.

In 2019 Rob joined the Seven series Home and Away as Ari Parata, a Maori father figure seeking a better life in Australia. Rob and his onscreen family portrayed their characters through a Maori cultural lens, marking a first for Australian television and resonating strongly with viewers.
