Angela Nica Sullen appears in Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP)’s acclaimed production of Saplings, now touring nationally following its award-winning premiere.
Written by Hannah Belanszky and directed by Abbie-lee Lewis, Saplings returns after its 2024 Sydney Festival debut, where it received the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Production for Young People. The work brings together a collection of powerful, humorous and deeply moving stories drawn from the youth justice system.
The production opened at the Sydney Opera House and will tour to twelve venues across the country from 13 May to 1 September 2026, including performances at Arts Centre Melbourne and Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
Angela joins a dynamic ensemble bringing this vital and timely Australian work to audiences nationwide.
