Freddie Hastwell has been cast in the role of Aleppo, the son of the Villain in the upcoming TV series reboot of Robin Hood produced by Lionsgate Television for Amazon owned MGM+. Initially slated for 3 episodes, he became integral to the story and team and will appear in the entirety of the series. The series is created by showrunner John Glenn and producer-director Jonathan English, with executive producer Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures.
Freddie joins a growing ensemble of international talent including Jack Patten as Robin Hood, Lauren McQueen as Marian, and Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham in what promises to be a bold retelling of the classic outlaw story.
Robin Hood wrapped production in Serbia and is expected to premiere in 2025.
