Mark Paguio recently appeared in Malacañang Made Us, a new Australian-Filipino play that premiered at Queensland Theatre’s Bille Brown Theatre in Brisbane.
Written by Jordan Shea the production explores themes of family, revolution, and identity against the backdrop of the Philippines’ political and cultural landscape. Blending sharp humour and emotional honesty, the play resonated strongly with audiences throughout its run from 18 October to 1 November 2025.
Mark delivered a moving performance as part of an exceptional ensemble, contributing to a production that celebrated the richness and complexity of Filipino stories on the Australian stage.
Malacañang Made Us was presented by Queensland Theatre and directed by Kenneth Moraleda.
